2017 Healthy Cities Best Practice Competition Awards Have Found Their Owners

2017 Healthy Cities Best Practice Awards of Turkish Healthy Cities Association contest, to which 35 member municipalities applied with 103 projects, have found their owners.

The members of the jury, whose chairman is Ankara University Faculty of Political Science, E. Inst. Prof. Dr. Ruşen Keleş, consist of Uludağ University Faculty of Architecture Dean and the Member of THCA Advisory Board Prof. Dr. Nilüfer Akıncıtürk, Uludağ University Faculty of Engineering Department of Environmental Engineering and the Member of THCA Advisory Board Prof. Dr. Feza Karaer, Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine Public Health E. Inst. and the Member of THCA Advisory Board Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emel İrgil, Osmangazi University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculty Member and the Member of THCA Advisory Board Assoc. Prof. Dr. İnci Parlaktuna, Abdullah Gül University Faculty of Architecture, the Head of City and Regional Planning Department and the Member of THCA Advisory Board Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asım Mustafa Ayten and Turkish Healthy Cities Association Director Murat AR.

The jury evaluated 103 projects in total as follows: 11 projects in the Metropolitan Municipalities, Social Responsibility category, 6 projects in the Healthy City Planning category, 9 projects in the Healthy Life category and 13 projects in the Healthy Environment category;

17 projects in the Metropolitan District Municipality, Social Responsibility category, 12 projects in the Healthy City Planning category, 10 projects in the Healthy Living category and 17 projects in the Healthy Environment category;

3 projects in the Province Municipalities, Social Responsibility category 3,1 project in the Healthy Living category and 2 projects in the Healthy Environment category;

2 projects in the Province District Municipalities, Healthy City Planning category.
